"what a wonderful power mothers have in their hands! they shape the lives of the children today, through them the lives of the men and women of tomorrow, and through them the nations and the world."

july...one of my favorite months

" oh, thus be it ever, when free men shall stand between their loved homes and the war's desolation! blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land praise the pow'r that hath made and preserved us a nation! then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, and this be our motto: "in God is our trust!" and the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!!!!"

i remember one of my very first times at a parade...i was quite young, down-town mesa...
the color guard went by and the tears started to flow!!! i remember seeing all the soldiers active duty and veterans and my little heart was deeply touched. i felt a great love for these men and women!!! and the symbol of freedom, the beautiful "old glory" stands for and my life has never been the same!!! may we live up to the faith our fore-fathers had in this amazing country with it's sacred constitution!!!! remember...they gave up family, fortune and for many, their lives!!!! we still have brave men and women who choose to guard and protect our way of life!!!! thank-you, thank-you!!! may God bless America!!!!
